Twilight
Have Seen this film a month ago, and wrote the review and thoughts on my other blog: here’s the link
Fireflies in the Garden
first I would like ot say that when my friends decided to watch this movie I wasn’t thriled at all, I thought it’s going to be boring. and I was right!
but let me start from the cast. Julia Roberts, Ryan Reynolds, Willem Dafoe and Emily Watson. all of them were simply amazing, they have a rally good acting ability, they can deliver a good acting.
The film looked so realistic and could have been a really good movie, with all the lines and the quotes, hadn’t it not being boring, not boring as boring talks and scenes, but as a plot. I simply couldn’t get what was the hell behind the story. okay, it had a meaning, it had some issues (about family, friendship and love), but there was no plot, no moving story, just someone who’s thinking about his childhood memories.
and My freinds didn’t get the story at all, but I can understand that, since they don’t get any film, they don’t understand films.
Hancock, Mamma Mia, and The Dark Knight
Three movies I’ve watched recently, and I want to write about the three of them in one post.
Hancock
The film stars Will Smith and Charlize Theron. it talks about a super hero who hates his job, now this might sound interesting, this superhero is infamous for being such a rude and careless person, people hate it, he drinks and curses. But then after he saves someone this man appreciate what he has done for him and invite him to dinner and then suggest a way to make people love him.
I always loved movies about superheroes and this one was actually awesome, it was funny (some people found it offensive), I liked it, and thought it was cool.
Mamma Mia
I was waiting for this movie so long, I always loved Abba (the song Dancing Queen was a very special song to me), I never watched the stage show, but heard it was really good, when I heard that Meryl Streep was supposed to take part of this musical and then Peirce Brosnan I said I won’t watch the stage show, but instead I’ll watch the movie when it comes out, and I would be paying less (only a theater ticket). then I heard that Mr Darcy, sorry, Colin Firth is attached, and I LOVE this actor, so I was so excited for this movie, I waited in vain and watched the trailers.
when it came to Israel I’ve watched the movie and I LOVED it. I thought the music was great, the actors were awesome, maybe the direction wasn’t something, but other than that, the movie was great! Io wasn’t disappointed and was so glad to watch it again.
The Dark Knight
I always loved Batman, he’s one of my favorite superheroes, I love Heath Ledger (RIP), Aaron Eckhart, Morgan Freeman and Gary Oldman. I didn’t know whether I would enjoy this movie, because I didn’t enjoy Batman Begins, I took my chances anyway, specially after I read the too many reviews around this movie.
I also have a problem I dont usually concentrate in Action Movies (teh new action movies), so I thought I wouldn’t understand anything.
After I watched the movie I was happy that I did, some parts made me cry, and other parts made me laugh, although in some parts I didn’t concentrate, I had fun watching it, and I didn’t feel it was long.
I loved how it ends, and I would love to watch it again.
Hey
I dont know why but I have ditched this blog, and I shouldn’t have done that.
The last entry was about the movie Juno, and there was only 2 movies I wrote reviews to, since then I havent wrote anything.
Now I’m thinking to write more about movies that worth mentioning here. and reviews for new movies I’ve watched.
Juno
I’ve watched this film, and I think its really funny.
I thought the actress, Ellen Page was really good, she played the part of a 16 years old girl who’s pregnant very well… it would be good if she get the academy awards, she would be the youngest to receive it, it would breaking a new record.
the film was good, not the best film I’ve ever watched for this year, I would watch it again, because I thought it was funny and cool.
I think the film is suitable for teenagers (16 or more).

Atonement
Yesterday I watched the movie Atonement.
and I have to say this movie is so amazing. I loved it.
I finished the book a couple of months ago. and thought the whole idea behind it was great! (though the language was difficult).
I loved the location, the direction, the music score. also loved the actor’s performance.
Keira Knightley wasn’t my favorite, but I loved James McAvoy , he was so amazing (wish he was taller).
I also loved the actress who played Briony (the younger one), Saoirse Ronan, she was great. (also loved her character), I thought she was heroine, not Keira.
The director Joe wright did an amazing job, he should be nominated to the Oscars.
In short, I loved the movie, and think it’s the greatest film of the year.
and I have to confess, I cried at the end, which means the film really touched me. (I hope I wasnt the only one who cried). adn no wonder it’s nominated for the Oscars.
